- FAQ
HS stands for the English word hoses, i.e. snakes. The figure in the designation refers to the number of hoses. We have chosen to name the configuration of our tilt and tiltrotator products after “number of hoses used for assembly”. That is for the machines that have all the necessary electricity and hydraulics – they can choose an HS8 for tiltrotators. The vast majority of machines are prepared with 2Proportionale and Låsehydraulik – and these machines can therefore choose the HS4 solution.
What is important to us as a manufacturer is that we match what your machines have in terms of installations. This ensures the cheapest and easiest installation. Therefore, when the machine has everything necessary, we configure our tiltrotator more simply. When the machine is born with fewer installations – we ensure from the factory that the Compacttiilt Rotator has what is necessary to ensure an easy and cheap installation.
HS stands for the English word hoses, i.e. snakes. The figure in the designation refers to the number of hoses. We have chosen to name the configuration of our tilt and tiltrotator products after “number of hoses used for assembly”. That is for the machines that already have locking hydraulics on the machine – they can choose the HS4 solution. For the machines that were born without locking hydraulics – if HS2 is selected, we have configured the tilt from the factory including valve. This configuration must ensure an easy and inexpensive installation during preparation.
Shortly said:
Does the machine have locking hydraulics – YES = always HS4 for tilt.
Does the machine not have locking hydraulics – No = always HS2 for tilt.
Compacttilt’s products, incl. the welded-on hook is CE-marked and has undergone lifting tests. This means that the hook is approved to lift the maximum that the machine is approved to lift.
If you are unsure whether the hook is approved by Compacttilt – contact us with the serial number and we can verify it in our system’s log.
In the accompanying user guide that comes with every Compacttilt product, you will find a description of lifting instructions.
There is 1 piece as standard. extra outlet on all our tiltrotator products. With an extra outlet, you can connect other equipment such as a grab, pallet forks or tongs to the tiltrotator.
The oil flow of the auxiliary outlet will depend on the flow and set-up of the machine, but as an estimated indication:
CTR2: 15-20 Liters/min
CTR3: 18-25 Liters min/
CTR10: 40 liters at standard flow/with claw. Up to 80 litres/min with High flow solution / without claw.
Yes, we can deliver with 2 extra outlets when the tiltrotator is NOT delivered with a claw.
Then the claw’s outlet is used – as an extra outlet instead.
The sample will have approx. 40L flow.
There may be depending on the machine setup, possibly adaptations/relocation of the machine’s quick couplings.
Lubrication, lubrication and lubrication. Rule no 1 – is lubrication.
For both tilt and tiltrotator, both products must be lubricated daily.
See lubrication instructions in the attached user manual that comes with the product.
